Tip of the Week

Tip on taking great Easter photos!
Taking good group photos is always a challenge. Half the people donīt want to cooperate, and the other half want to direct. So first of all, you must take control. Round folks up and if some truly donīt want to be in the picture, so be it. Of course, you can digitally add them into the group picture later as long as you remember to get a picture of them later.

Keep it short and sweet. Too many people, too much impatience. Two minutes max to take a group picture.

Donīt look for perfection here. Get them together and get it over with--unless, of course, this is some kind of official family reunion portrait and everybody is being very cooperative.

If indoors, remember that flash tip: folks canīt be more than ten feet from the camera. And they should all be close together, as if they were standing against a wall waiting for the firing squad. Which, of course, they arenīt, at least not in my family.
